Tue 6th-Thur 8th Sept 2016 visit 89! Part 2.

Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th Sept.

On Wednesday morning I set off for a walk round the gardens and I noticed the mist was rising

So I decided to climb the Tor and I am glad that I did. It was magical. Truly the Mists of Avalon. The mist was in  a low bank over the levels with clear blue skies above, and there was mist drifting across the tower with a golden sunrise. Absolutely magical and I stayed up there until the mist rose all around the Tor.

Then I went into town to meet my friend Ann and we went shopping at Clark's Village in Street  with a late lunch at the Abbey tTea Rooms when we got back. I did a bit more shopping then went back to the well.

When I got back it was time for a long walk round the gardens in the evening sun.

And then as it was such a gorgeous evening it was back up the Tor to watch the sunset. I love how there is nearly always a gathering of people up there.

Then it was back to Chalice Well Lodge and a long night time walk round the gardens.

Thursday dawned lovely and sunny again for going home day. I packed, then had a last long wander round the gardens until it was time to check out. The Vesica pool had been drained and was being cleaned out by one of the garden staff

It was a magical visit and I went home "Glastified"
