Tue 10th July 2012, visit 76

I got up at 5am to go to Glastonbury- the only reason really for getting up at that hour of the still night! The bus was a bit delayed going through the Mendips but I was still down there at 10.30. I went round the market and did some shopping. Then I went and sat in the meadow at the foot of the Tor and did a releasing ritual for the failed friendship. I had a close encounter with a massive dragonfly there, dragonflies are one of my special creatures. I then spent the rest of the afternoon in the gardens.

I needed a day there on my own to reclaim my special place after the bad memories of the previous visit where by the second day I was close to tears most of the time.

My Avalon journal in the branches of the faery tree, one of the photos is the lovely Jhenah Telyndru, who I met there in 2009 as she wanted to use some of my photos in the revised edition of "Avalon Within"- and several of them are in there which makes me very happy :)

Fri/Sat 25th/26th May 2012, visit 75

Goodness, I didn't mean to leave it this long without posting, especially as my visits are now almost recorded up to date. I had a blogging block for a while but that has at least cleared.

So- not going to say much about this visit for personal reasons. Overnight stay at Heaphey's, and I thought I had booked a single room for myself and a double for the others but I hadn't. But it is lovely staying at Heapheys. I got to visit Bride's Mound at last on this visit. Also watched sun set from the Tor and went to the gardens on Saturday. People say about Glastonbury that it heightens your awareness of situations and with this visit it was very true for me. I was assertive afterwards as so many things had happened to upset me, and it was the end of a friendship, but all that is personal so not being recorded here. So have some photos
